Institute for Biodynamic Research

Established in 1950 as a registered non-profit association in Darmstadt, Germany;

branch institute at the Dottenfelder Hof biodynamic farm in Bad Vilbel, Germany;

both together have a staff of approx. 12 (full time and part time).

Funding:

The institute is a private, independent body. Projects are financed by project grants provided mainly by private
foundations, to a smaller extent by public institutions. To cover our overheads (administration, energy, insurance,
buildings maintenance and repair etc.) we depend on donations.
